Las Pinas Mayor Mel Aguilar and Vice Mayor April Aguilar met with Department of Interior and Local Government Undersecretary RJ Echiverri to discuss the road clearing operations in the city.

The meeting on Wednesday focused on the clearing operations being implemented on the roads of Las Piñas. Usec. Echiverri is the point person for Las Piñas in-charge of overseeing the implementation of President Duterte’s directive to rid all roads of obstructions and other illegal structures.

Mayor Mel Aguilar issued a stern warning last week to the barangay captains to cooperate in the clearing operations being undertaken by city government through the recently formed Task Force Kaayusan. She also asked the barangay executives to monitor and report the progress of the clearing operations in their respective barangays.
