Las Pinas holds family planning caravan
The City Health Office of Las Piñas recently conducted a Family Planning Caravan on March 16, 2023, at the Brgy. Elias Aldana Covered Court. The aim of the event was to promote responsible parenthood and reduce maternal and child mortality rates by providing access to family planning services.
The caravan featured informative lectures on family planning and responsible parenthood. Participants were educated on various contraceptive methods and their benefits. The speakers emphasized the importance of making informed decisions and taking responsibility for one's reproductive health.
The attendees were also provided with various reproductive health services, such as free distribution of condoms, birth control pills, and free installation of progestin implants. These services are part of the city's efforts to provide accessible and affordable reproductive health care to the community.
