On Wednesday, March 1, the City Social Welfare Development Office announced its latest project in partnership with the Las Piñas Persons with Disability Federation, Inc. (LPPWDFI) and the Pinnovation Academy.

The project aims to provide an accessible vehicle for persons with disabilities during emergency situations, and was launched at the Christ the King Covered Court in Brgy. Pamplona I.

The project will make use of an L-300 vehicle that has been modified to accommodate the needs of people with mobility impairments. It will soon be deployed in different barangays in their Disaster Management programs, allowing them to better assist those with disabilities during emergency situations.
