Mayor Aguilar holds weekly barangay inspection

Mayor Mel Aguilar and some members of Task Force Kaayusan visited Barangay Talon Dos and Barangay Talon Kuatro in Octoner 21.

The barangay visit is part of the monitoring process being conducted by the city government to ensure the maintenance of cleanliness and orderliness and no new obstructions are present in the major and secondary roads of Las Piñas.

This move is part of the continuing efforts of Task Force Kaayusan to clear the roads of the city from obstructions and illegally parked vehicles.

Mayor Mel Aguilar discussed with Barangay Chairman Ruben Sanchez of Talon Dos and Barangay Chairman Lawrence Roco of Talon Kuatro about the continuing road clearing operation to keep the roads of Las Piñas free from obstructions and to maintain the high compliance rating of the city as validated by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Las Piñas City has received a high compliance rating from DILG in the evaluation of the road clearing operations it has undertaken.

Mayor Mel Aguilar also visited the health centers and day care centers of the the two barangays. This is connection with Sabayang Patak Laban sa Polio (anti-polio campaign) of the city government spearheaded by the City Health Office.

With her during the visit were City Engineer Rosabella Bantog, CENRO chief Cesar Perillo, BPLO Head Wilfredo Gaerlan, City Nutrition Head Dr. Julio Javier, City Planning Officer Engr. Nida Lagrisola, and former Councilors Mark Anthony Santos and Henry Medina.
