Las Pinas holds vaccination dry-run

Nagsagawa ngayong araw, February 8, 2021, ng SIMULATION o DRY-RUN ng coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination ang Las Piñas City Government sa pangunguna nina Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda "Mel" Aguilar , Vice -Mayor April Aguilar, Department of Health (DOH) Assistant Regional Director Ma. Paz Corrales, mga doctor ng City Healh Office na sina Dr. Ferdinand Eusebio, Dr. Julie Gonzales at Dr. Ellaine Gumpal, sa isang vaccination site ng lungsod sa Las Piñas Elementary School Central na matatagpuan sa P. Diego Cera,Barangay Elias Aldana.

Ito ay bilang bahagi ng Lokal na Pamahalaan sa kanilang paghahanda at pakikiisa sa mass vaccination program ng pamahalaan sa inaasahang pagdating ng mga bakuna sa bansa ngayong Pebrero.

Sa ginanap na dry-run, inihanda ng Las Pinas City Government katuwang ang CHO ang maayos, komprehensibo at konkretong vaccination plan para tiyakin ang kaligtasan ng mga magpapabakuna at maiwasan ang posibleng pagkalat pa ng mga sakit sa lungsod.

Para sa kaayusan, nagtakda ng tig-isang screening site sa bawat barangay upang inisyal na mailista ang mga potensiyal na tatanggap ng bakuna, mayroong tig-limang registration sites sa District 1 at District 2 para sa isasagawang validation at profiling ng inisyal na listahan na pagbabatayan naman sa paglilista sa pinal na masterlist at pag-iisyu ng QR code habang may tig-1 vaccination site ang 20 barangay kung saan sasailalim sa pagbabakuna ang mga taga-Las Piñas.

Maayos ang pagkakasunud-sunod ng mga bawat area ( waiting area,registration area,counselling area,medical screening,vaccination area,encoding area at post vaccination and monitoring area) sa isang itinakdang vaccination site kalakip ang mga nakalatag na panuntunan at proseso na dapat masunod ng mga magpapabakuna para sa kanilang kaligtasan bago at pagkatapos silang mabakunahan.

Ang mga kawani ng city hall ang sumailalim sa kunwari o hindi totoong pagbabakuna sa lugar upang ipakita lamang ang kahandaan ng Lokal na Pamahalaan katuwang ang CHO sa mga isasagawang proseso sa vaccination program sa lungsod.

Nakahanda na rin ang storage facility ng lungsod at nakastandby ang karagdagang sampung freezers na pansamantalang paglalagakan ng mga vaccines upang mapanatiling ligtas at epektibo ang mga ito na gagamitin sa naturang programa.

Target ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Las Pinas na mabakunahan ang 3,000 residente kada araw.

Matatandaan na naglaan ang Las Piñas City Government ng P200-milyong pisong pondo o augmentation funds sa national government para sa pagbili ng karagdagang COVID-19 vaccines.

Nasa 500,000 doses ng COVID-19 vaccines ang nasiguro ng lokal na pamahalaan matapos pirmahan ni Mayor Mel Aguilar ang tripartite contract sa British drug maker na AstraZeneca katuwang ang gobyerno.
