In an effort to promote responsible pet ownership and protect the community against the spread of rabies, the Barangay Health Center of Manuyo Uno, Daniel Fajardo, Ilaya, and Elias Aldana in Las Piñas City will continue to offer free rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats on March 7-10, 2023. The program will be conducted in various locations across the barangays, including covered courts and multipurpose halls.
Residents are reminded to follow the health protocols and wear a face mask, maintain social distancing, and bring their own pen when going to the vaccination sites. The vaccination services will be available from 9 am to 12 noon.
On March 7, the program will be held in Barangay Manuyo Uno, while on March 8, it will be conducted in Barangay Daniel Fajardo. On March 9, it will be held in Barangay Ilaya, and on March 10, in Barangay Elias Aldana.
Pet owners are advised to bring their healthy and well-fed pets aged three months and above. Dogs and cats must be restrained or placed in carriers while at the vaccination site.
