Las Pinas vice mayor recognizes outstanding school employees
Vice Mayor April Aguilar was the guest speaker at the Gawad Sikhay held at the STI Auditorium.
Gawad Sikhay is awarded to outstanding administrators, teachers, and non teaching staff of the public schools of Las Piñas City (DepEd Las Piñas).
They were chosen because of their effectiveness and excellence in their fields of work.
The theme of this year’s awarding ceremony is “Uplifting Service Awardees for Continuous Excellent Performance.”
In her message, Vice Mayor April Aguilar commended the awardees for their dedication and commitment to the public school students of Las Piñas. She said that, “I join the entire education community of Las Piñas City in recognizing our outstanding teachers, administrators, and non-teaching personnel. Your contribution in molding the future leaders of our country is invaluable and much worthy of this recognition.
Mayor Mel Aguilar and Vice Mayor April Aguilar extend their congratulations to all the awardees of Gawad Sikhay. The award they received this morning serves as an inspiration to those who are involved in the education sector of Las Piñas City.
In attendance during the awarding ceremony were CID Chief Dr. Violeta M. Gonzales, OIC-Office of the SDS Dr. Joel T. Torrecampo, Chief, SGOD Dr. Aldrin Corpin and former SDO Dr. Loreta Torrecampo.
