VAWC officers take oath before Las Pinas mayor

The Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) Federation in Las Piñas City has taken a big step forward in its commitment to safeguard the rights and welfare of women and children. On Thursday, March 9, newly elected officers from the 20 barangays in the city took their oath of office before City Mayor Mel Aguilar.

The VAWC Federation, in partnership with the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), conducted a series of training sessions to prepare the newly elected officers for their responsibilities. The training aimed to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to address cases of violence against women and children in their respective communities.

Mayor Aguilar commended the VAWC Federation for their dedication and commitment to protecting women and children. She emphasized the importance of their role in ensuring that the rights of women and children are upheld and respected.
